Dr Mike Wilcox will speak on “Auckland’s remarkable urban forest” including foraging opportunities for nuts and fruits, and mentioning some lesser known useful trees that may have potential.
Mike is the author of ‘Auckland’s Remarkable Urban Forest’ (Auckland Botanical Society Inc. 2012), is Vice President of the Auckland Botanical Society, an Honorary Research Associate at the Auckland Museum, Fellow of the NZ Institute of Forestry, and member of Forest & Bird, and the International Dendrology Society.
