Jenny has written the below description of their property:
What is the Pokaiwhenua Tree Farm about?
It’s about the river – the Pokaiwhenua River – and it’s about trees.
There are natives along the long river boundary of our 50 acre farm and exotics in our garden and two retired gullies. Magnolias are a passion and many more trees besides – some of which we grow in our small nursery where we propagate trees for riparian plantings for local farmers.
Food is naturally another passion and, without being collectors, we try to let our land provide us with many yummy things.
