SPECIAL EVENT – Sat 22 & Sun 23 March 2014
Kapiti Coast District Council will again be hosting the Sustainable Home and Garden Show.
YOUR BRANCH GAZEBO WILL HOUSE….
Alongside our usual apples varieties display, we have created a simple quiz to encourage children to think about tree crops. Eating apples will be given as prizes.
Warren Kerruish of Agribusiness is helping out with a pest and diseases information board. You can come and chat with Warren on Saturday pm.
A member of your committee will be on hand all day, both days, in case you have specific questions to ask regarding the organisation.
If you can spare some time please speak to Ngaire as co-ordinator of this activity.
SHOW SPECIAL GUEST – MIKE VAN DE ELZEN
Come along to the show and meet this award winning kiwi chef. Michael starting cooking at the age of 14. After honing his craft in London, he returned to New Zealand in 2003 to open Molten in Mt Eden, Auckland. It serves a contemporary European menu combined with fresh Kiwi ingredients and an array of boutique wines.
VISTING THE SHOW
The event is held at Kapiti Primary School, Rimu Road, Paraparaumu and there is generally parking available at the back of Coastlands.
It’s Gold Coin entry and kids get in for free
Sat is 9am to 4pm and Sun 10am to 4pm
